It seems like I haven't checked in for weeks, and it's simply because of time crunches.
Many things have changed since my last post, chiefly, I am now working again! Hallelujah! After 10 long months of unemployment, I am now back at my chosen profession-working in the Hospitality industry that I so enjoy.
I want to thank all of you who have faithfully prayed for this breakthrough. God has certainly been faithful to me and Isaiah and has taken great pains to see that we have had all we needed. Now, I just need to find my own home! That's going to be the next big move!
As you pray for us this week, pray that I will hone my time management skills, as working will put me in a crunch for time with Isaiah, who needs me now more than ever. Continue to pray for him and lift him up. His name means, "God is my Salvation" - I named him that knowing that God would keep him and watch over him better than I ever could. So, keep him in your prayers. This year has taken a toll on him, as well as me.
I will try to update UPLIFT! as often as I can. Having the blog available to you for devotional purposes and simply to gain some spiritual insight is my aim. Please know that if I don't show up as often, it is only because I've got many things going on.
Again, your prayers have sustained me through much and I pray for each of you daily. I know that the fellowship of believers is made strong by those like you.
God bless you this week, and know we are here for you if you need us!
In Christ!

Our prayers will contionue for your need of a home, and just as He supplied the job, He will also supply you with all that you need.
Sister Byrd and I love you and Isiah very much and if there is anything at all that we can do to assist you, please call on us.
Love AND prayers,
